Arriving From Grenoble:
Travelling from Grenoble on the D1091 (formerly RN91) you’ll reach the Col du Lautaret and begin the descent into Serre-Chevalier. Continue for approximately 18.5 kms (11.5 miles), passing through Monetier-les-Bains, until you reach La Salle-les-Alpes.
You’ll pass a Total service station on your left followed by a roundabout. Take the 2nd exit (straight ahead) and continue for 600 metres until you see 2 apartment buildings, Les Agneaux and L’Olan, on your left. Turn right directly opposite L’Olan into Montée de l’Aravet and La Sapinière is the second chalet on the right.
Arriving From Gap:
Entering Briançon from Gap on the RN94 you’ll see a Total service station on your right followed by a set of traffic lights. Continue straight ahead following signs for Grenoble and Turin. After approximately 1.8 kms (1.1 miles), having passed a McDonalds restaurant on your left, you’ll reach a roundabout. Take the 2nd exit following signs for Grenoble on the D1091 (formerly RN91) . Continuing for 2.5 kms (1.5 miles) you’ll come to another roundabout, take the 2nd exit (straight ahead) and remain on the D1091 (formerly RN91) for a further 2 kms (1.2 miles). You’ll then enter Chantemerle. Travel straight on for another 1.5 kms (0.9 miles) to La Salle-les-Alpes.
Having arrived in the village, remain on the D1091 (formerly RN91) for 1 km (0.6 miles) after which you’ll come to the second of two small road bridges. Once you’ve crossed this second bridge take the first left, opposite L’Olan apartment building, into Montée de l’Aravet. La Sapinière is the 2nd chalet on the right.
Arriving From Turin:
Coming from Turin on the RN94, you'll arrive in Briançon and see the cathedral and battlements to your left. After 500 metres you’ll come to a roundabout, take the 2nd exit and follow signs for Toutes Directions. Continue downhill for a further 1.4 kms (0.9 miles) to a large roundabout and take the 1st exit following signs for Grenoble on the D1091 (formerly RN91). After 2.5 kms (1.5 miles) you’ll come to another roundabout, take the 2nd exit (straight ahead) and remain on the D1091 (formerly RN91) for a further 2 kms (1.2 miles), you’ll then enter Chantemerle. Travel straight on for another 1.5 kms (0.9 miles) to La Salle-les-Alpes.
