The Skiing
Whether you’d like to go for a gentle ski in the morning, followed by lunch at La Sapinière and an afternoon snooze, or take a fully qualified mountain guide to explore the valley off-piste, you’ll find that the chalet is ideally located.
Although we’ve skied in The United States, Canada and many other European countries, we’ve yet to find anywhere quite like Serre Chevalier with its 115 pistes; 15 black, 42 red, 33 blue and 25 green. The resort ensures consistent snow cover throughout the season, as it has one of the largest artificial snow making systems in Europe covering an area of 146 hectares (360 acres). Unlike other purpose-built resorts, the group of villages which extend along the Vallée de la Guisane from Briançon combine to offer breathtaking scenery and superb skiing. With runs between the trees and open bowls of powder, there’s enough to satisfy even the most demanding winter sports fanatic. Click here for more information.
