Prefer Not To Ski?

If you’d prefer to spend your time away from the slopes, there are plenty of alternatives.
Those who still have a craving for speed might like to try a few laps on the Serre Chevalier Ice Racing Circuit or go paragliding.

There are nature walks between the trees, snow-shoeing trails and 35 kms of cross-country skiing. The ice rinks are ideal for all the family and enclosed tobogganing areas allow parents and toddlers to play in safety.

Serre Chevalier is rich in history, with reminders of its Roman past at the thermal baths of Monêtier-les-Bains, stunning medieval frescoes in many of the valley’s churches and 18th century fortifications built by Vauban.
