Welcome to Chalet La Sapinière
Tourist Authority: 4 Stars Clévacances: 4 Keys
La Sapinière sits at the heart of the Serre-Chevalier ski resort in La Salle-les-Alpes, close to the medieval town of Briançon, Hautes-Alpes, France. A traditional, privately owned chalet, it offers accommodation for 10 people on 3 floors and is approximately 200 metres from the pistes. Surrounded by pine trees planted following Christmas celebrations over the last 35 years, this charming home-from-home occupies its own grounds at around 1400 metres above sea level.
Available for self-catering rental for most of the year, it’s an ideal base for anyone who prefers an individual approach to mountain holidays. Whether you’d like to ski, snowboard or ice-climb in the winter; retrace parts of the Tour de France route, go kayaking, mountain biking or mountaineering in the summer, the area has a lot to offer.
The chalet is on the Route des Grandes Alpes, much loved by classic car enthusiasts and cyclists, approximately 111 Kms (69 Miles) south-east of Grenoble and 117 Kms (73 Miles) west of Turin. Regular flights to these cities make fly/drive packages a viable option in addition to road and rail links.
