La Sapinière sits at the heart of the Serre-Chevalier ski resort in La Salle-les-Alpes, close to the medieval town of Briançon, Hautes-Alpes, France. A traditional, privately owned chalet, it offers accommodation for 10 people on 3 floors and is approximately 200 metres from the pistes. Surrounded by pine trees, this charming home-from-home occupies its own grounds at around 1400 metres above sea level.
The chalet will be professionally cleaned before your arrival and once you've left, which means there's one less thing to do before making a dash for the airport. La Sapinière is an ideal base for anyone who prefers an individual approach to mountain holidays. Whether you’d like to ski, snowboard or ice-climb in the winter; retrace parts of the Tour de France route, go kayaking, mountain biking or mountaineering in the summer, the area has a lot to offer.
The chalet is on the Route des Grandes Alpes, much loved by classic car enthusiasts and cyclists, approximately 111 Kms (69 Miles) south-east of Grenoble and 117 Kms (73 Miles) west of Turin. Regular flights to these cities make fly/drive packages a viable option in addition to road and rail links.
